Writing for this album took place from August 2013 all the way to May 2015. I spent a significant period of this time travelling, from Virginia, through the south down into Texas, all the way down to California, and finally up through Arizona to end up in Colorado, where I currently reside. This album is themed around those travels, and with each track I aimed to recreate the atmosphere of very specific places/moments, in the chronological order they occurred (mostly).
